Massachusetts Avenue SE Bridge - Not all of Washington D.C.'s unjust truncations are freeways
If built would make Massachusetts Avenue Washington, D.C.'s longest continuous boulevard.
Richard Laymen to his credit has supported this bridge.
Organizations as the "Capitol Hill Restoration Society" have to their detriment opposed it.
The lack of a bridge to carry and connect Massachusetts Avenue across the Anacostia River isolates the area east of the Anacostia River, and represents a Capitol Hill snobbery that has no place in our nation's Capital.
